My Grandson Loves Dinosaurs

Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur

When my grandson first became interested in dinosaurs, I was a little nervous.  It was almost like an obsession with him.  He wanted his room decorated like a jungle with dinosaurs on the walls and every stuffed animal he has is some different species of, what else, dinosaur.  Of course, for him to be this interested in a certain type of animal means that he will learn all he can about them.

So, when I saw KOTA My Triceratops Dinosaur on my favorite website for family gifts, I knew I had to have it for my little grandson.  No way can any of my family top this gift, unless Playskool somehow improves it some day with more advanced technology.  I don’t see that happening any time soon because this little monster has everything you could want to keep the dinosaur fanatic in your family satisfied.

The KOTA Triceratops Dinosaur is cuddly and soft; although from a distance, he looks hard and scaly.  That is just a part of what makes him so realistic.  He is even brown and green and his tail wrinkles a little to give him that reptile look.  If I didn’t know better, I’d think he was real.

He also likes to wag his tail and move his head and eyes around.  The horns on his head even move! When you talk to him, he’ll roar back at you with his mouth opening and closing as he speaks.  If you touch his nose, he’ll sniff your hand and if you tickle his tummy or chin, he’ll laugh.  Yes, he will actually let out a giggle.  Of course, it still sounds like what you would expect from a dinosaur but you do know that you delighted him with a chuckle.   I’m sure my grandson will fall in love with this adorable KOTA Triceratops Dinosaur the first time he lays eyes on him.

Of course, no dinosaur loving kid would be satisfied unless he could sit on his new reptile friend.  So it is no surprise that KOTA My Triceratops Dinosaur delivers in that aspect too.  His back can hold up to 60 pounds and he even has a handle behind his head for my grandson to hold onto.  He bounces up and down with such a convincing trot that you would think he’s really going somewhere.  There are even four different adventurous songs playing while he’s being ridden.  Both of them will be able to venture into the “Age of Reptiles” for hours and still be back in time for lunch.

Speaking of food, KOTA My Triceratops Dinosaur comes with some green leafy snacks for when he gets hungry.  You can really hear him chomping away while he eats.  My grandson is bound to get a kick out of that.

With all the valuable knowledge about animals that comes from studying dinosaurs, it’s just a given that the KOTA Triceratops Dinosaur is a gift I’ll be giving.  I’m sure my grandson won’t be relinquishing his passion for prehistoric reptiles any time soon.
